Jo has got married!

It makes me so happy to see brides pictures, thank you all so much for sending them in. Here is my latest. The lovely Jo had an original vintage creation and we made a little matching bracelet too.
She is one of the happiest brides I have seen, so I am sure we do not need to wish her luck!
Many congratulations Jo! You are a rare beauty!

If you want a look similar to Jo's, try the Shearer headband:

A new Bride in the Cooper headband

It's great when brides have their own take on our designs. Helen decided to wear the Cooper headband: on top of her gorgeous rolled bun and doesn't it look amazing! A seaside wedding in St Leonard's-on sea in glorious sunshine on the bank holiday...all pretty perfect really!
Congratulations Helen from all at Flo & Percy.

Nathan Pask

We used a fantastic Fashion photographer on our Gatsby/Wonderland shoot; Nathan is a true professional and I have never observed a photographer working so hard. Ably assisted by Christian, the two of them put in a massive effort to catch the fading light that day at the beautiful Rochford Hall. Above shows our favorite shot Nathan took. Thank you Nathan and best of luck to you in your career!

P.S check out Nathans blog too!

Pearls for the Girls!

Bridal make up by Alison Cameron

We used a fabulous make up artist for our last shoot and I would like to recommend her to all you brides. did an incredible job with our models managing to make them look natural but glamourous at the same time. She is fully trained by Mac and has the most amazing collection of Mac make up you have ever seen. She is both professional and down to earth and would be sure to settle your nerves on the big day. Above shows one example of her work. Thank you again Alison for bringing your talents to Flo & Percy.

Lovely Gilly

Photos of new brides are flooding in here at Flo & Percy now it is nearing the end of the summer. Todays lovely lady is Gilly. She wore an original vintage dress from a fantastic source for wonderful dresses. Her marcasite headband is a one off original from F&P. Doesn't she look lovely? How great do headbands look on short hair! We wish you lots of luck for a happy married life Gilly! xx

P.S I have to say the picture with the chair is one of the most amazing wedding photos I have seen!

Vintage Bouquets

Once in a while I come across someone very talented who I admire. Emma who is the designer and founder from : is one of those people. She has come up with a truly original idea and has been running her beautiful company in Brighton for many years now. Making original vintage bouquets her flair for floristry as well as her craft with beads and wire shines through in these arrangements. Why not use a sentimental piece of jewellery as part of your vintage bouquet or let Emma find some special keepsakes for you. The best thing about the bouquets is that they will last forever and are a perfect compliment to a Flo & Percy headpiece!
I think Emma should sell these also as home accessories for those ever lasting flowers to adorn the chicest of homes.

P.S She also keeps a very interesting blog!

A beautiful bride in the Bara headband

"Just wanted to say thankyou very much for the fantastic headband which was both beautiful and very comfortable and went wonderfully with my Jenny Packham dress."

So great to see our designs on real brides and this is such a great photo showing the lovely Charlotte in the Bara headband, thank you Charlotte for sending the picture and we wish you a happy married life!
